The Environment

We strive to provide a clean, safe and educational environment for young children and their families. Within our care, children develop skills that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth. We believe in supporting our parents, and we welcome their positive involvement and presence at all times. We further believe that within our environment, children can thrive and have the opportunity to blossom into responsible and contributing members of our society.

Our Staff

We require ongoing training for our staff through state classes, orientation videos, in-house training, and other certified professionals in the education field. All of our staff is trained in First Aid and CPR.

Our Philosophy

Genesis One Kids believes that children learn by way of exploring the world at their fingertips. Our program is designed so that each child can learn about the world around them. We understand that children prosper when their emotional, social, intellectual, and physical needs are nurtured. We foster the development of each child's self-esteem while understanding each of their own individual needs. Our home center is a "community center" as we teach our children the value of family and community. We support family relationships and encourage the involvement of family within our activities.

Fire Safety

We practice and implement stringent fire safety measures. Besides having monthly fire drills, our home is inspected regularly by state and local fire departments to make sure everything is safe and up to code. Fire extinguishers and fire alarm pull stations are located throughout the center.

Safety First

Genesis One Kids operates with stringent health and hygiene, cleaning and disinfecting, and illness exclusion policies because regular health and hygiene practices provide some of the best defenses against the spread of contagious illnesses. Genesis One Kids has a COVID-19 preparedness plan to ensure that families and staff understand best practices during a pandemic to control the spread.

We diligently maintain the strictest of precautions, including:

• Strictly following the state and local guidelines set forth by the Department of Health.
• Frequent hand washing throughout the day for children and staff.
• Restrict access to the inside of the home.
• Perform a routine, thorough cleaning of the entire facility, including toys, equipment, and doorknobs.
